About the Author

Willis L. Drake, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated from Sumner High School in 1958. He became a first-time author at the age of seventy-eight. Other than the grace of God, he had no formal training to prepare him to write this book, which he wrote after the death of his wife of fifty-five years, Mary Ann Byas-Drake. Her spirit is always with him.
